Balancing on two hands requires much more than shoulder strength and wrist flexibility. Holistic exploration of these postures requires body, mind, and breath to work in concert. We will begin this workshop with a vinyasa practice that will prepare you to tackle these postures and their associated transitions. During the second half of the practice we will discuss, demo, and attempt postures where only two hands are on the floor. All levels are welcome, modifications will be offered, and the only prerequisite is the ability to pause in chaturanga dandasana (low push-up with the elbows bent).
